About This Print
This altered portrait is based on a painting by Dutch artist Thérèse Schwartze, created between 1879 and 1885. Schwartze, who lived from 1851 to 1918, was one of the most celebrated portrait painters of the Netherlands in the late 19th century, known for her skill ful depictions of women, children, and domestic scenes. In this reimagined version, the woman's head has been removed, transforming the original portrait into a surreal, thought-provoking work of art. The dog, Puck, remains a loyal companion, gazing up at the headless figure. The alteration creates a sense of mystery and intrigue, inviting viewers to interpret the work in their own way.

All orders are processed within 1-to-2 business days (this excludes weekends and national holidays) of receiving your order confirmation email. You will also receive another notification when your order has been shipped.
We currently only ship to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. We do not deliver to P.O Boxes, Military addresses and restricted areas. All shipping costs are shown upon checkout.
